Over $3,000 was raised for Beverly Bootstraps through the Empty Bowl Dinner on March 11,2011.

The Beverly Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project came to Harborlight with new dictionaries for all third grade students. Thank you to the Beverly Rotary for this great gift!

When Harborlight opened its doors for the 2010-2011 school year, families in the Infant/Toddler Program were delighted to witness a transformation in the space dedicated to the School’s youngest students. The renovation to the Infant/Toddler house was a substantial project, infusing the interior with wonderful daylight, expanded large movement space for crawling infants and new walkers, access to the outdoors through a new deck area, and a separate quiet napping room. And, on the exterior, a new simple but beautifully landscaped garden now greets students and visitors alike. This rehab was partially funded by a grant from Danversbank Charitable Foundation.

Community Service is an important part of Harborlight’s Character Development Curriculum. Lower Elementary students visited our neighbors at Essex Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for a Halloween costume parade.
